On Friday, Bandai Namco announced that an Elden Ring Nightreign network test is coming in February, and today fans can start the registration to get in.
Elden Ring Nightreign was announced at TGA 2024 celebration, and Bandai Namco have already announced that the single or three-player co-op take on 2022’s Game of the Year will be releasing its first network test in February. That’s not all, Bandai Namco have also announced that registration for a chance to be included in the network test (which means you get to play the game earlier) starts today, so fans can cast their ballot for the opportunity to give a condensed version of Elden Ring Nightreign in February, right now. The latest gameplay trailer for Nightreign revealed at TGA 2024 can be seen below.
Elden Ring Nightreign throws players back into the world of The Lands Between in a location called Limveld. In the new hostile location, players can choose to take on the threats in Limveld alone or with two other teammates, and Nightreign basically tasks the player/players with surviving a three-day-and-night cycle with a boss fight concluding the end of each day.
Like a true rogue-like, no two runs of Limveld will be the same as it will procedurally generate a new map each time you jump in to a run. Bigger risks will grant players bigger rewards, and each successful run against the night hordes will bring players closer to defeating the penultimate enemy of Nightreign, the Nightlord, and unveil the story behind each playable hero called Nightfarers. Fans who want to jump into Nightreign early can follow the simple steps below to sign up for the February network test today.
How to Sign Up for The February Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test

First off, the network test is a preliminary verification test in which the selected testers play a portion of the game prior to the full game launch, so while fans will get to play early there may be kinks in gameplay FromSoftware needs to iron out before the official launch. Sign ups have already started, so fans just have to head to this link to get started, and fans unsubscribed to PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass Core can also jump in without the online subscription.
The network test will only be open to Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 players, each participant must create an account with Bandai Namco, and each participant can only submit one request per created account. Rules will follow a “first come, first served” basis, and each winner will be notified via sign-up email whether they’re accepted into the network test by January 30. Those who have not been selected will not receive any email to avoid confusion. Players will then be granted access on February 11 afterwards.
Fans interested should sign up today, and those looking for further terms and conditions they can be found here.
