CCP Games has released the latest EVE Online: Revenant expansion hit the universe of New Eden, and capsuleers can jump in and join forces with the Deathless today.
On Tuesday morning, CCP Games launched their latest expansion, EVE Online: Revenant, into the reaches of New Eden so adventure-seeking capsuleers can join forces with the Deathless in their struggle against its greatest threat. Players will be allowed to bolster group profits with enhanced Corporation Projects and experiment with new SKINR patterns to emphasize individual creative expression and group identity.
That’s not all; fans can even assemble mercenary dens in nullsec to generate encrypted infomorphs. These can then be exchanged with the Deathless for destructive ships featuring state-of-the-art weaponry. To celebrate the launch of EVE Online: Revenant, CCP Games has released a trailer for the expansion, which can be seen below.
Bergur Finnbogason, creative director for EVE Online, said, “The Deathless…can he be trusted? What are his intentions? An untrustworthy ally is an ally nonetheless, but the clock is ticking. The Drifters will be back.” He continued, “What’s certain is that the Deathless has possession of seemingly unbridled technology that will help capsuleers strike at the heart of darkness. Prepare for the storm!” This is just in case fans have any reservations about teaming up with the usually aggressive insurgent faction.
EVE Online: Revenant Key Features

- Become Deathless – Fans will be given access to Deathless technology, and with it, a new paradigm will be brought to warfare with the Tholos Destroyer and Cenotaph Battlecruiser. These ships are designed for close-range combat, and the Tholos and Cenotaph provide a serious tactical edge in the ongoing conflict.
- Mercenary Dens – These are deployable structures that latch onto orbital skyhooks around temperate planets in nullsec, and they generate encrypted infomorphs from the planetary workforce to trade to the Deathless. The Deathless can give EVE Online players access to exclusive ships, weapons, and ammo in the Deathless style. Fans can also deploy in Tactical Operation combat sites to generate more infomorphs.
- Enhanced Corporation Projects – Leaders can set comprehensive, complex, and diverse goals with expanded project parameters. Projects such as mining in multiple locations or targeting various ship types will be expanded to add flexibility. New included ship Insurance project types offer an easier way to automate ship replacement programs. Deadlines can also help coordinate members to the goal of projects with priority.
- New Customization Options – Capsuleers can elevate their creativity and take their creations to new heights with 40 new patterns and new nanocoatings with improved expression and customization for SKINR. This includes a new pattern slot for fans to blend together to craft SKINs. A new section in the Paragon Hub makes finding SKINs tailored to specific groups easy, letting players create a uniform and share it with fellow members.
EVE Online: Revenant is available now, so capsuleers can return to New Eden and check out what’s new. Fans can also head to the official EVE website to explore other newly released information, or even head to our previous EVE Online: Equinox coverage which just launched in June.
