From managing your vending machines to cooking omelets, Wholesome Games has returned with the Wholesome Direct 2025, announcing many exciting indie titles for many anticipating gamers.
The Wholesome Direct 2025 has returned for the 5th consecutive year, streaming the showcase on YouTube and Twitch to present gamers with many cozy and heartwarming game trailers, world premieres, and release dates. Going above and beyond this year, 60 games were announced from aspiring developers and publishers, and to help you get caught up, we have compiled the list of games announced during Wholesome Direct 2025.
Before listing the announced games, here are some highlights from Wholesome Direct 2025.
STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar

Once renowned as a bustling marketplace, Zephyr Town has fallen on hard times—and it’s up to players to restore its former glory by raising animals, harvesting crops, crafting delicacies, and selling goods. Developed by Marvelous Inc. and published by Marvelous USA, Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar marks a significant step forward for the franchise, offering enhanced visuals, new characters, an expanded narrative, and full voice acting during key story events. The game is set to launch on Aug. 27, 2025, for Steam, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Omelet You Cook

Get your cooking wares ready for Omelet You Cook, a cozy yet chaotic roguelike developed by SchuBox. In this culinary adventure, players prepare omelets for the students and staff of Middlesville Central Cafeteria by grabbing ingredients from a conveyor belt and earning money to unlock new items and pantry relics between rounds. But be warned—Principal Clucker will judge your performance at the end of each day, and only top-tier cooking will meet their expectations. Omelet You Cook is available now on Steam.
Is This Seat Taken?

Play as a logical matchmaker in Is This Seat Taken?, a quirky puzzle game filled with wacky and unique characters—each with a pet peeve that makes seating them a challenge. Developed by Poti Poti Studio and published by Wholesome Games Presents, players must find the perfect seat for every character to unlock new levels in this silly yet relatable experience. Is This Seat Taken? is set to release in August 2025 on Steam, iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch.
MakeRoom

Developed by Kenny and published by Wholesome Games Presents, decorate a miniature diorama and create various furniture pieces to fulfill design requests for cats, vampires, and many more. From crafting a compact kitchen to a cozy camper van, utilize over 1,000 furniture to place in a room, or if you’re feeling more adventurous, create your own furniture with the built-in designer. But be sure to complete the objectives and quests for the inhabitants of MakeRoom Island, as you can earn new objects from cleaning or designing a room. MakeRoom launches on Steam on August 7, 2025.
Milano’s Odd Job Collection

Originally developed by Westone, Milano is stepping back into the spotlight—and for the first time, releasing in the West—with Milano’s Odd Job Collection. Published by XSEED Games, players take on the role of 11-year-old Milano as she works summer part-time jobs, from delivering pizzas and baking cakes to milking flying cows. With no handouts, she’ll do whatever it takes to earn cash and shop for cool gear. Emulated through Implicit Conversions, Milano’s Odd Job Collection is coming soon to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, GOG and the Windows Store.
Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk

Create and manage a vending machine empire in the unique idle simulation title Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk. As players place vending machines throughout the city, they can design and tweak each location to suit their personal aesthetic—building a successful business either by actively playing or letting it run in the background. To keep the operation running smoothly, players must hire and manage staff, assign specific responsibilities and maintain high morale. Vending Dokan!: Kozy Kiosk is available now on Steam.
Fishbowl

Developed by imissmyfriends.studio and published with Wholesome Games Presents, Fishbowl is an emotional story about Alo starting her first job in a new city, while grieving her grandmother’s death. Each day, your choices can lead to various journeys of self-discovery, as Alo stays in touch with her friends through video calls, works from home as a video editor, goes through her late grandmother’s belongings to relive her past, and does house chores and self-care. Fishbowl will be launching soon on Steam and PlayStation 5.

Before wrapping up, Wholesome Games has donated over $200,000 to many charities, including Save the Children, AbleGamers, Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, and the International Rescue Committee. To continue their charitable efforts, Wholesome Games has announced that the proceeds from the Wholesome Direct merch will be donated to Point of Pride. For those unaware, the Point of Pride is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping trans youth and adults access gender-affirming care. The programs offered by the non-profit organization are Annual Transgender Fund, HRT Access Fund, Electrolysis Support Fund, Thrive Fund, Free Chest Binders, and Free Femme Shapewear.
