The world’s largest fighting game tournament, EVO 2026, is on the horizon, and event organizers have spilled what titles will be on the menu ahead of schedule.
The time has come, EVO 2026 is on the horizon, and an official game lineup has been revealed for the event!
For the uninitiated, EVO 2026 is the Evolution Championship Series fighting game tournament. This tournament has been ongoing since 1996 (rebranded to Evo in 2022), and it has been the pinnacle of fighting game championships since. Each year, players and fans gather to compete in open-format tournaments that crown World Champions, and everything that makes fighting games special for fans worldwide is at the heart of Evo.
The organizers of the EVO 2026 tournament have taken to social media to launch the EVO 2026 Announcement show this week on official channels, including EVO YouTube and the EVO Twitch channels. During the announcement show, organizers shared details about EVO Japan 2026, EVO 2026, and the EVO Awards. That lengthy video can be seen below.
The full slate of games for EVO 2026 has been revealed! The fighting game staples Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and Fatal Fury are joined by a few surprises, including Rivals of Aether 2 and 2XKO. There have also been three Evo 2026 events announced this year, and the entire list of participating titles can be seen below (including which show they’re announced for).

While titles have been locked in for the 2026 season, next year is also a huge year for fighting game enthusiasts with Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls and Invincible VS slated to have full launches while 2XKO’s early access is coming to consoles in January 2026.
Evo 2026 kicks things off with the Japan 2026 show from May 1 to May 3, and fans can find all of the extra information on upcoming Evo events on the official site.
