Fallout Gets An Explosive Season 2 Trailer At Gamescom ONL 2025

In a surprising announcement during Gamescom ONL 2025, Amazon Prime’s acclaimed series based on Fallout got a second season reveal, packed with excitement.

Expanding on the location teased at the end of the first season, Fallout’s second season takes Lucy (played by Ella Purnell) and the Ghoul (played by Walton Goggins) to the iconic New Vegas in the hopes that Lucy may find her father there. Fans will be delighted to see the absolute cornucopia of references to both the Fallout series and Fallout: New Vegas that were featured in the trailer.

While on the Gamescom ONL 2025 stage, Executive Producer on Prime’s Fallout, Johnathon Nolan said, “We’re super proud of the original story that Geneva and Graham are telling, but there was one character in particular from New Vegas that I was really excited at the possibility of seeing a little bit more from.”

“We are absolutely thrilled that our global Prime Video customers will be able to delve deeper into the wonderfully surreal and captivating world of Fallout,” said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios. “Jonah, Lisa, Geneva, and Graham have done an exceptional job bringing this beloved video game franchise to vivid life on Prime Video.”

Most notably in the trailer, as an expansion on Cooper Howard’s past, sees him coming face to face with the iconic and still human Mr. House (played by Justin Theroux). Not only that, but the trailer showed off several locations Fallout: New Vegas fans will recognize, such as the Novac Hotel (complete with Dinky the Dinosaur), the Lucky 38 Hotel and an appearance from everyone’s favourite robot cowboy, Victor. The trailer also briefly showed Ceaser’s Legion and culminated in an encounter with the series’ most devastating creatures: the Deathclaw.

Fallout Season Two arrives December 17 on Amazon Prime Video.
