Fans of the seminal Farming Simulator series can take their growing on-the-go, bigger and better than ever when the game comes to Nintendo Switch 2.

Announced via press release, GIANTS Software revealed that Farming Simulator: Signature Edition would be heading to Nintendo Switch 2 on December 9th, 2025. Alongside this brand-new series installment, GIANTS Software also revealed that the game would include the brand-new Mercedes-Benz Trucks Pack to bring even more vehicles and machinery to the game.

Farming Simulator: Signature Edition really wants to focus on the authenticity of the game’s vehicles, as is stated in the release, “Whether farmers tackle agriculture on fields, professional forestry in the woods, or tend to an adorable ensemble of farm animals, they operate over 400 authentic machines by real brands to achieve their goals.” This includes: Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, John Deere, Kubota, Massey Ferguson, New Holland, Valtra, and others.

Recently, GIANTS Software formed a long-awaited partnership with Daimler Truck AG to extend the fleet with iconic stars. With the arrival of Mercedes-Benz Trucks in the series, 17 additional machines have been added to the fleet. Spotlights are on the Unimog, a celebrated all-rounder, and the MB-trac, a powerhouse of traction and durability.

Further details on the game’s website state that players will also be able to really take their farming experience to the next level, with landscapes ranging from “a North American environment with plenty of open space, a Central European location with green fields between ponds and rivers, or a lush East Asian landscape filled with water-flooded rice paddies!”

The Farming Simulator series has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide since its launch in 2008, making it one of the leading franchises in the genre. As with its predecessors, GIANTS Software has plans for plenty of post-launch content to enhance the user experience.
