Get ready to blast away dirt like never before—FuturLab has officially announced PowerWash Simulator 2, and it’s packed with new features!
Following the massive success of PowerWash Simulator, FuturLab has announced PowerWash Simulator 2, set for release in late 2025 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC. As players return to Muckingham, they can explore new locations to unravel the campaign with improved visuals, tools and features, and, for the first time, split-screen mode.
PowerWash Simulator was released in 2022 for those looking to relax with friends or play solo. Whether completing jobs in Career Mode or replaying a favourite job in Free Play, players have many tools to remove dirt across Muckingham.
Not to mention, there are many locations players can visit to clean, such as Bikini Bottom from SpongeBob SquarePants, the fairy tale maps from Shrek, 62 West Wallaby Street from Wallace & Gromit, Midgar from Final Fantasy VII Remake, and more.
FuturLab design director Dan Chequer said, “PowerWash Simulator 2 feels like a natural evolution from its predecessor. The original game’s design was all about eliminating anything that detracted from the pure satisfaction of taking something dirty and making it clean. PowerWash Simulator 2 is all about adding even more avenues for players to achieve that same sense of satisfaction, with new tools, features and quality-of-life improvements.
“We’re really excited to see players dust off their power washers and get stuck into this brand-new campaign that brings you even more to clean, and even more ways to release the pressure.”
Following Chequer’s statement, FuturLab COO Chris Mehers said, “We couldn’t be more thrilled to finally announce the sequel to one of our most successful titles. With over 17 million players worldwide, PowerWash Simulator has allowed us to self-publish a sequel, an exciting challenge we are delighted to undertake.
“We look forward to bringing players the next step-up in the PowerWash Simulator series.”

Returning to Muckingham to uncover more secrets in PowerWash Simulator 2, players can explore new locations like Sponge Valley, Power Falls and Lubri City. As they enter new areas, they will have new tools to remove tough stains, such as enhanced soap designed for this purpose.
After a hard day of cleaning, kick back at your home base, customize the pad to your liking by collecting furniture and trinkets, and invite your friends to hang out.
To enhance online functionality in PowerWash Simulator 2, players can complete the campaign together online. For those who prefer traditional co-op gameplay, split-screen mode allows multiple players to share one screen.
With friends, gear up with power-washing tools as you explore new locations that desperately need your service.
PowerWash Simulator 2 will be released in late 2025 on PC via Steam, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Fans can visit the PowerWash Simulator 2 website to learn more.
