The nominees for this year’s Game Awards have just been announced and God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2 are leading the pack with eight nominations each.

Alongside these two titles are other nominees for the Game of the Year, which include Marvel’s Spider-Man with seven nominations, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Celeste with four each, as well as Monster Hunter: World with three.
Other games with multiple nominations include Fortnite with nominations for the Best Ongoing Game, Best Esports Game, Best Mobile, and Best Multiplayer, as well as Call of Duty Black Ops 4, Destiny 2: Forsaken, and Detroit: Become Human with three nominations each.

Of course, streamers and content creators will be recognized as well at the Game Awards. Some of these nominees include Ninja, Dr. Lupo, Myth, Pokimane, and Willyrex. They were chosen by a global panel of 68 key media outlets.
The winners will be announced live at The Game Awards on December 6 at the Los Angeles Microsoft Theatre at 9 p.m. ET. The awards can also be watched via various livestream platforms.
Until then, fans can vote for their top picks at thegameawards.com and via The Game Awards’ official Discord server, Twitter Direct Message, Facebook Messenger, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant.
Voting has now officially opened in the Discord server with the full list of categories and nominees. The voting runs until December 5.
