Eden Games’ next racing title, Garfield Kart 2 – All You Can Drift, is now available on consoles, and it comes with a fresh launch trailer.
In case the Mondays have fans down, Garfield Kart 2 – All You Can Drift has now launched on console, and it brings a new launch trailer showcasing all of the available abilities racers can unleash on each other in the chaos of Garfield Kart. The newly installed developers of the franchise at Eden Games are no strangers to kart racing or racing in general, as they’ve previously brought the fan-favourite Smurfs Kart (along with V-Rally, Test Drive Unlimited and Gear Club) to market. The launch trailer for Garfield Kart 2 is available to view below.
In Garfield Kart 2, players can choose between 8 different characters to race on tracks from the Garfield comic strip universe, just like the original’s remade title released back in 2019. The entire roster of the racing title has also been revealed: Garfield, Odie, Jon Arbuckle, Arlene, Nermal, Squeak, Dr. Liz Wilson, and Big Vicious Dog are the characters fans can gear up as.
Each kart in Garfield Kart 2 – All You Can Drift is fully customizable. Fans can choose their own bumpers, wheels, and spoilers for their rig, as well as style and colour for a unique touch to each race. Fans can play online with up to eight players worldwide, or enjoy four-player couch co-op multiplayer modes with good old-fashioned split screen.
Garfield Kart 2 – All You Can Drift is out today on Steam, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. While Garfield Kart 2 is not the only kart-like racer coming out this year or next, it is a cheaper new kart racer option over its competition (Mario Kart World and Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds) at $29.99 for every launch console, and fans can meet at the starting stripe now.
