GeForce NOW Gets 90 FPS VR Support Plus A Day-One AAA Release

A Good Day For GeForce NOW Members

Crimson Desert New Gameplay And Story Video Overview

GeForce Now has really pulled through this month with new 90 fps VR support and the day-one AAA game addition of Crimson Desert.

Starting off fresh with the addition of VR streaming up to 90 fps. The new fps quality is only available on supported products for the Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest devices, and Pico devices. The downside is that there’s the extra caveat of having to be an Ultimate member to access the high fps rate in the first place, but if you are a member, then you can start enjoying some ultra-smooth gameplay today. It’s even possible to use the standard NVIDIA RTX, plus the newly announced DLSS technology.

The second piece of news, and perhaps the most unbelievable, is that the extremely hyped Crimson Desert is coming to the cloud. Debuting with GeForce RTX 5080‐class processing power, Crimson Desert will be a day-one release on GeForce NOW. Crimson Desert follows the story of Kliff as he ventures out into the vast world of Pywell in order to reunite his brotherhood and fight off the forces of evil.

There is also a new collaboration between World of Tanks and the Mafia series. Between March 19th and the 29th, the Lost Heaven mobsters are now fighting in tanks, Italian Predatore tanks to be exact. Players can also unlock 2d cosmetic looks themed after the games, plus recruit familiar faces from the Mafia history books.

Mafia: The Old Country (Pc) Review
  • Everwind (New release on Steam, March 17, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
  • Retro Rewind – Video Store Simulator (New release on Steam, March 17)
  • Crimson Desert (New release on Steam, March 19, GeForce RTX 5080-ready)
  • Fallout 3 (Steam)

As a bit of a sad update, Cyberpunk 2077, Forza Motor Sport, Icarus and Ark Survival Ascended will no longer be available on the free tier starting April 1st. GeForce NOW says that this is because “the basic rig type does not meet the game’s updated minimum system requirements.” Premium members will still be able to enjoy them, though.
