GeForce NOW has brought every mainline Borderlands title developed by Gearbox Studios to the service this week, likely to prep fans for Borderlands 4.
GeForce NOW is a unique service that brings members the latest games and content without having to wait around for updates or patches. This is done by adding games to their cloud streaming service and letting members indulge for a subscription rate, and that subscription rate allows members of their Ultimate tier to utilize the power of an advanced GeForce RTX GPU (with PC components included) without hardware setup.

This week the GeForce NOW service has added yet another handful of games to its catalogue, with Borderlands Game of the Year Enhanced, Borderlands 2, Borderlands 3 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel all ready for members to play in the cloud. Aside from Gearbox’s Borderlands series, Remedy Entertainment’s FBC: Firebreak is also coming to the cloud, as well as the following list of games landing on GeForce NOW, and the platforms they’re usable through the cloud with.

It’s possible GeForce NOW is attempting to prepare fans for Gearbox’s upcoming Borderlands 4 launch, which arrives on September 12, 2025. CGMagazine’s preview of Borderlands 4 says it’s “Not a reinvention. It’s not a reset. It’s Borderlands 1, but better, louder, faster, and with shockingly little between you and the action.”
