That's A Lot Of Primo

HoYoverse is giving away 1,000 Genshin Impact primogems and other freebies for their titles in celebration of receiving numerous awards at the PlayStation 30th anniversary.

Genshin Impact’s main monetization runs on a premium currency called “Primogems,” used in the gacha character unlock system to wish (and potentially pray) for a particular character. Fortunately for fans, since HoYoverse received several awards at the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Partner Awards—including an award for excellence for Genshin Impact—other HoYoverse titles, Honkai: StarRail and Zenless Zone Zero, also nabbed significant victories. As a thank you to players, HoYoverse is giving away free currency to celebrate the awards for all three titles.

For all three mainline HoYoverse titles, the team is giving away a wealth of premium currency, which is incredibly easy to obtain. For Genshin Impact, fans only need to log in and check their mailbox to claim 200 primogems daily from Dec. 4 until Dec. 8 (a total of 1,000). Fans should note they can log in once on Dec. 8 to claim all the rewards at once, but after Dec. 8 the giveaway will conclude, and fans will miss out on the wish-making currency. HoYoverse is also bestowing 1,000 Stellar Jades to Honkai: StarRail players and 800 Polychromes to Zenless Zone Zero in the massive celebration event.

It’s rare for HoYoverse to give away so much currency in one period, so fans who play any of the HoYoverse titles should get after the freebies as soon as possible before it’s too late. While December 8 will be the last day for fans to claim Genshin Impact currency, Honkai: StarRail players will have to claim their rewards before the end of version 2.7 (which just launched), and Zenless Zone Zero fans don’t have a set-in-stone deadline for the Polychrome redemption yet.

Fans looking for information (including future giveaways) for any HoYoverse title, they just have to visit the official website for more.
