THQ Nordic and Coffee Stain have announced that the GOAT returns to console in Goat Simulator: Remastered, which includes all expansions for PS5.
The developers at Coffee Stain in collaboration with THQ Nordic, have announced today that one of the more zany titles in their catalogue, Goat Simulator, will be returning in its original form with all of its expansions in a remastered version. Goat Simulator: Remastered will include revamped graphics, and the original title will be coming to PS5 consoles for the first time in physical form. The announcement trailer from August 2024 can be seen below.
What’s interesting is that the development team at Coffee Stain boasts that Goat Simulator: Remastered still contains 100 per cent of its bugs from the original release—because in-game, these are considered features. Fans can expect the same chaotic fun of the original simulator with a fresh coat of graphics, just as intended.
The remastered version includes all previously released DLC expansions for the simulator (with cameos and inspiration galore), including:
- GoatVille
- Goat City Bay
- Goat MMO Simulator
- GoatZ
- PAYDAY
- Waste of Space
- Buck to School

Under key features for the remaster, Coffee Stain highlights that some of the main features include, “You can be a goat… again — no really, that’s still the main selling point” while also detailing a retooled mutator menu for fans to experiment with.
Coffee Stain proudly claims that this version of the game comes with all previously released DLC because Goat Simulator: Remastered itself is a cash grab, continuing their honoured tradition of roasting their own game. They go on to say, “You should absolutely be spending your money on something else, like a neat hat, a pile of bricks, or maybe pool your money together with your friends and buy a real goat.”
Goat Simulator: Remastered bleats onto Xbox Series S/X and PlayStation 5 consoles today, and fans can find the official site here.
