This week, Hasbro announced that Hasbro Women Innovators of Play is coming back for 2024 and revealed their lineup of events to connect women toy and game innovators across the globe.
In Fall 2023, the Hasbro Women Innovators of Play event was introduced, and the purpose is to promote a more inclusive and equitable toys and games community while also encouraging women’s participation in that community. Not only has the event been confirmed to return, but Hasbro has also announced the exciting lineup of events for this year. For 2024, there will be many networking opportunities and other opportunities for innovators worldwide.
President of Global Brands and Franchise Management at Hasbro, Kim Boyd said “We are on a mission to attract more women and girls to the toy and game industry, and I could not be more inspired by the response to our Women Innovators of Play event and Challenge,” with “As a true testament to the power of women inventors everywhere, Hasbro is thrilled to be investing in an incredible game by one of the Challenge’s winning inventors, Ellie Dix, and we will be partnering with Ellie to further develop her game concept” regarding Hasbro’s commitment to the program.

Hasbro seeks to expand on the program from 2023, 2024 will include a full schedule of events designed to cultivate Hasbro’s community and expand with new networking opportunities such as the Girl Innovators of Play.
Hasbro Girl Innovators of Play is in partnership with Girl Up — a girl-centred leadership development organization — this program will include an Innovation of Play boot camp, a dynamic hands-on program for girl leaders throughout the globe to learn from some of the prominent leaders at Hasbro and beyond.
