In a new trailer released today, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival developer Saber Interactive shows players just how ‘survival horror’ romance can really be.
Till death do us part just got a whole new meaning. To prepare audiences for Valentine’s Day, Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival has uncorked a fresh trailer showcasing a different type of small box that can make a bond last forever. The new survival horror title delivers a terrifying new story in the legendary Hellraiser universe, a tale of passion and temptation (and the consequences that follow). As Aidan, players will descend into the darkest depths of the underworld on a journey to rescue his love, Sunny, from a realm of torment at the hands of bloody Cenobites. The trailer can be seen below.
The trailer also reveals horror icon and voice of nightmares, Doug Bradley, will be reprising his role as the sinister leader of the Cenobites, Pinhead, making the new title a true revival. In an interview, Executive Producer Nenad Tomic said, “Clive Barker has been deeply involved with the game from the very beginning. His guidance and intimate understanding of the Hellraiser universe have been instrumental in shaping every aspect of the experience,” noting the game in development by Boss Team Games is directly inspired by the first two films in the franchise, but is not directly connected to those storylines. Revival features a new standalone story, steeped in rescuing a loved one.
Diehard Hellraiser fans will be happy to know Revival is up for pre-order now, and it comes in three distinctive collector edition offerings.
- The Genesis Edition will offer a physical copy of Revival, with a physical LED replica of the Lament Configuration puzzle box and a pack of trading cards. This is listed for $129.99.
- The Cenobite Edition offers a deluxe edition physical copy of Hellraiser: Revival, and includes steelbook case, an artbook, a pack of trading cards, a physical LED replica of the Lament Configuration puzzle box, a polystone statue, an art print, a poster (27″ x 40″), enamel pins and it’s all housed in a puzzle designed collector box. This is listed at $199.99.
- The Signed Pinhead Edition includes everything in the Cenobite Edition, but includes an art print signed by Doug Bradley himself. This edition is limited to 1,500 units and is listed at $249.99.
Fans can head to the official website now to secure their pre-order. Hellraiser: Revival still doesn’t have a concrete release date, but it will arrive sometime in 2026, likely after Valentine’s Day.
