Owned by Tencent as a subsidiary of Lightspeed Studio, this marks a new chapter for Itsuno as he continues creating games for fans to enjoy. He also announced they are hiring new talent to work alongside the legendary Capcom veteran.
When Hideaki Itsuno announced his news about leading Lightspeed Japan Studios, he shared more of his thoughts on the Lightspeed Studio website. He described joining the studio as an exciting new chapter, expressing his enthusiasm for creating original triple-A action titles with his team and building an aesthetic and innovative experience for players worldwide. He credits Lightspeed’s strong development capability and global network for this opportunity. In addition to his statement about starting this new chapter, he extended an invitation to talented and passionate game creators worldwide to join the team in alignment with their shared vision.
