Honkai Star Rail’s Version 3.1 Special Program has introduced a host of new additions coming to the game, including two new playable characters from the Amphoreus region.
Version 3.1, officially titled “Light Slips the Gate, Shadow Greets the Throne,” will be released on all platforms on February 26, 2025. Alongside new characters, players will also get a new explorable map, light cones, and more. Here’s the official story description of 3.1, coming off the reclamation of Nikador’s Coreflame in Version 3.0
“In Version 3.1, the Trailblazer will take on the role of a messenger, embarking alongside their companions to a brand-new map, ‘Grove of Epiphany.’ In this update, Trailblazers and their companions will forge ahead on the grand Flame-Chase Journey, venturing into uncharted territories and embracing a tapestry of thrilling events.”
Tribbie and Mydei are the two new playable 5-star characters, and they’re members of the influential Chryos Heirs in Amphoreus. As usual, the new characters will be split into two different banners. Here’s how those pan out.
Honkai Star Rail 3.1 Banners – Phase 1
Phase 1 runs from February 25 until March 18. This is when you’ll be able to draw Tribbie, a Quantum-type character focused on buffs and debuffs. Here are all the characters, along with their paths and combat types.

- Yunli – 5-Star – Destruction – Physical
- Lynx – 4-Star – Abundance – Quantum
- Hook – 4-Star – Destruction – Fire

Honkai Star Rail 3.1 Banners – Phase 2
Phase 2 will, of course, kick off right when the first ends, running from March 18 until April 8. This phase introduces Mydei, an imaginary type with a ton of damage output.
