Two titans of live service gaming are finally colliding, as a Honkai Star Rail collaboration is officially happening with Fortnite — it was only a matter of time. It’s honestly a little surprising this hasn’t happened already.
The collab will see two of Honkai’s most iconic characters join the battle royale: Kafka and Blade. The pair will arrive on February 26, with a press release saying they’re “bringing their unique character flair and combat prowess toFortnite players across the globe.”

However, we haven’t heard anything else beyond the fact that they’re coming. We don’t know of any exclusive back bling, new Honkai-inspired modes, LEGO version, or anything else. It’s possible that more information will come later, as the announcement was made to put it on people’s radar. That’s especially true considering the Epic Games Store is running a promotion, giving the Blade outfit away for free to anyone who downloads Honkai Star Rail on the service.
And that’s not the only big collab coming, as Epic also revealed wave 2 of KPop Demon Hunters, including Huntrix Golden skins and Jinu.
The collab comes in right after Honkai’s version 4.0 updates, releasing on February 13, titled “No Aha at Full Moon.” This update takes players to the new region of Planarcadia and adds two new party members, Yao Guang and Sparxie. Here’s a quick story overview of the update,
“Once upon a time in a paradise within the painted scroll, the vacant divine throne smiled, awaiting those who seek godhood to don their masks and entertain the masses. Amidst the scorching fires of the cosmos, the god is nowhere to be found, but THEY left a reward for those who desire Elation… “One Minute of Godhood”.
