Hoyoverse has announced the latest Version 3.3 update for Honkai: Star Rail, titled “The Fall at Dawn’s Rise” and it’s bringing two new characters to the roster.
The newest chapter “The Fall at Dawn’s Grace,” aims to add more content and characters to the ever-expanding Honkai: Star Rail adventure. The chapter sees Trailblazers aligning forces with the Chrysos Heirs in an ultimate showdown against the Sky Titan, Aquila, marking the final confrontation for Trailblazers in the Flame-Chase Journey introduced in a previous version. The new Honkai: Star Rail version 3.3 update adds two new characters, Hyacine and Cipher. Hyacine is a Wind-type character and doubles as the chief physician of Twilight Courtyard. She specializes in team-wide healing through her small companion, Little Ica, and her skills focus on overall party survivability, HP restoration and passive healing mechanics that will trigger as allies take hits.
Cipher is a Quantum-type character and sows disruption by marking the enemy with the highest maximum HP. Marking enemies stores damage dealt to them, and her kit allows her the ability to switch target,s which builds stored damage in multiple targets. This culminates in a true DMG burst via her unleashed Ultimate. In addition to the new character debuts, warp banners will feature the return of Aglaea and The Herta, and both will be featured in the first and second portions of Version 3.3 as per the usual new Version summoning banner schedule.
On top of the Fame-Chase Journey conclusion and new characters, Honkai: Star Rail is bringing customization options to the Penacony Speed Cup Spheroid Racing Tournament, and new combat challenges await Trailblazers looking to jump back in with Version 3.3.
Version 3.3, “The Fall at Dawn’s Grace,” launches on May 21.
