ICFF is bringing Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul star Giancarlo Esposito to TIFF Lightbox to discuss his career his rich Italian history.
The winter season will be getting steamy in Toronto, at the end of November. TIFF Lightbox will be hosting their “On the Couch with…” special event, organized by the Italian Contemporary Film Festival (ICFF), with esteemed actor Giancarlo Esposito on November 29th, 2024, at 6:30pm. He is best known for playing the chilling villain Gus Fring, in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. This is a special night of conversation where Esposito will discuss the secrets behind his career and his rich Italian roots.
Esposito’s voice has even graced many animated projects like Far Cry 6, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. If fans do not recognize these credits, they will probably remember him most recently as the head of Vought, Stan Edgar, in Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys. His career spans early works on Miami Vice and The Usual Suspects.
The special panel will be hosted by Canadian filmmaker and actor Matt Johnson. In addition to the intimate panel, there will also be an exclusive party at Casa Loma afterwards. ICFF is true celebration of Italian excellence bringing the best of contemporary Italian cinema Canada-wide.
