The Innovation For All (IFA) Trade Show has come around again, and EDIFIER has taken full advantage of the opportunity to show off four new products.
For anyone who doesn’t know, EDIFIER has been in the audio business for about 30 years now; in fact, they are celebrating their 30th anniversary with these new products. Those products are the XR6 Professional Studio Monitor, a twofer of both the M90 Bi-Amped 2.0 Speaker and MW6T Compact Powered Subwoofer, WH950NB Pro Wireless Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones and the STAX SPIRIT Planar Magnetic Headphones.
XR6 Professional Studio Monitor

Audio is nothing special without the setup to make its sound better than it does after the initial recording; that’s why the XR6 exists. Its headline feature is something called an “integrated room acoustic calibration system that combines onboard DSP with dedicated PC software,” which basically means that, depending on the room, the XR6 will adjust itself to make sure the audio being monitored is crisp.
The whole thing is built out of aluminum because that material specifically does a good job of minimizing resonance and cabinet coloration. That casing houses a three-way acoustic design and driver units that function as providers of clarity, precise imaging and low distortion while also being tuned for on-axis and off-axis frequency responses. All of which make a welcome addition for any professional or home studio that needs it.
M90 Bi-Amped 2.0 Speaker & MW6T Compact Powered Subwoofer

These two are grouped together because when they are together, they function as a full home audio solution. The M90 ships with a 100W RMS stereo output, Hi-Res audio and full connectivity with HDMI eARC, LDAC Bluetooth 6.0, USB-C and optical inputs.
The MWGT Subwoofer, on the other hand, is a perfect companion for the speaker. It does so through a 210W RMS bass output and is assisted by the 6.5 Inch subwoofers to balance the audio performance in whatever space it’s placed in. EDIFIER says in its press release that “they create an immersive audio experience for music, movies, gaming and everyday entertainment while integrating effortlessly into modern homes.”
WH950NB Pro Wireless Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones

These headphones are designed to combine adaptive hybrid ANC, ANC standing for Active Noise Cancellation, with the immersive sound EDIFIER provides to make the whole experience one to remember. Build-wise, they have 8 microphones, which are the major contributing factor to the noise cancellation, dual dynamic drivers and spatial audio, which tracks your head movements, all to provide crisp audio.
The battery life lasts for about 70 hours, but it’s worth noting that figure is only with the Active Noise Cancelling off. With the cherry on top being a six-microphone AI call system and Bluetooth 6.1.
STAX SPIRIT Planar Magnetic Headphones

These headphones represent EDIFIER’s premium personal audio products, and for good reason; these headphones were literally built for your discerning audiophile. The main focus of these headphones is the planar magnetic driver technology, which, in practice, delivers a high-fidelity listening experience.
EDIFIER said in its press release that these headphones deliver “exceptional detail, low distortion and accurate sound reproduction with wireless convenience and premium craftsmanship.” The STAX SPIRIT headphones wouldn’t be possible without EDIFIER’s decades of experience in making products just like it and its commitment to do better with every product.
