The producer and director of inZOI, Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim, has shared a letter with the community on Discord, announcing that inZOI Early Access will be delayed to March 28, 2025.
Known for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, KRAFTON and the producer and director, Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim, have announced that inZOI Early Access has been delayed to March 28, 2025, as he shared a letter to the dedicated community on Discord. He has shared in the letter how grateful he was for how much love the game has received at Gamescom, and needs to take responsibility for providing the players with the most complete experience that is possible after reviewing their feedback and insight from inZOI: Character Studios.
The letter expressed their uncertainty about introducing ‘Canvas’ to the world, not knowing how many people would participate but surprised with the enormous number of uploads, and were happy with how much engagement the game has received and inspired to see how deeply the people were connected to inZOI. However they had a realization after reviewing the feedback from inZOI: Character Studio and analyzing the data from many play tests, they have decided to delay the Early access and apologize for not bringing the game sooner but hope to give the game the best possible start.
With the delay, they have compared the development of inZOI to raising a human child to adulthood, “The extra love and care required to nurture a child to adulthood is how I see our journey with inZOI – a game that we will be nurturing together from its Early Access birth,” said Kim in the letter.
As they wrapped up the letter, they mentioned they would continue to work and improve areas that require attention until the release date, hoping to create a game that truly captures the essence of life simulation. As they set their goal to deliver an experience that fans can enjoy for a long time to come, they will provide updates on the development progress and hope the players will join the journey toward inZOI Early Access and beyond.
