The early access life simulator, InZOI, may still be in early access, but that’s not stopping developers from porting it to the PS5 in 2026, and Xbox might follow suit.
KRAFTON has announced today that the immersive life simulator, inZOI, will be released for PS5 in the first half of 2026. KRAFTON launched the title in March 2025 for early access users, and it received a mixed reception on the Steam platform. Since then, the developers have been hard at work making updates to the title to prepare it for its full launch. Game Director Hyungjun “Kjun” Kim mentioned the utility of launching in early access in July, saying the early access period gave him rare insight as to why “games in this genre so rarely appear in the world,” adding, “It’s simply very, very difficult.”

When asked about potential console ports, Kim said, “The development team is currently focused on ensuring that all PC-based content is ported seamlessly to consoles, and we’re also putting in a lot of effort in terms of interface and controls to provide a consistent user experience (UX) across platforms.” Those console ports that were being worked on will surface (for PS5) in 2026.
The official X account of inZOi posted confirmation on the port, and insisted they’re also considering a release on Xbox, but it has yet to be confirmed. The port announcement comes days before inZOI is on deck to get a big Island Getaway expansion on August 20. The expansion will allow fans to go on vacation to the islands of Cahaya, where Zois can indulge in relaxation on Resort Island, or hit the bigger of the two islands for big city exploration. The bigger island includes new ways for inZOI players to make money, such as by fishing, farming, and mining. InZOI will also let players open up shop and sell their inventory at pop-up stands.
While the PS5 port has a window of “in 2026,” fans can head out on vacation with the new expansion on PC while they wait for it as early as August 20.
