On Wednesday, the developers at Warhorse Studios revealed a roadmap for their upcoming sequel Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, including free content.
In preparation of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2‘s release in under a month’s time, Plaion and Warhorse Games have launched a trailer today that reveals post-launch plans for the sequel. Fans will be elated to learn that not only will there be three paid DLC expansions planned, the title will also have FREE content given out over the year. The trailer showcasing everything coming to the title can be seen below.
It’s worth noting that a free update for all players will launch this Spring following the February release which will introduce new customization features (like a barber to customize your characters look), a horse racing mini-game and a Hardcore Mode. Following that, in the Summer fans can extend Henry’s story with the expansion pass first launch, Brushes With Death. This DLC content allows players to help an artist with a mysterious past.
Fast forward to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in the Fall, and the Legacy of the Forge DLC expansion will launch. This DLC allows fans to explore more of Henry’s backstory by diving into a narrative that digs up the past of his adoptive father, Martin. In this expansion fans can also hone their skills as a blacksmith and restore a once renowned forge.

The roadmap concludes in Winter with the Mysteria Ecclesia DLC. Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will have players enter the mysterious Sedlec Monastery where Henry is tasked with a covert mission operation while navigating the “complex dynamics” of the region. Warhorse Games has also promised to continue to update and patch Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 after launch. This includes free quality of life updates all throughout the roadmap release calendar and beyond.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launches on February 4, 2025, for Xbox Series S/X, PS5 and PC. Fans can check out all the released information on the official Warhorse Studios website.
