Konami Press Start 2025: Everything Announced!

Just a few days ago the Konami Press Start 2025 event was announced, as it went live today here are all of the new announcements from the showcase.

As Summer Game Fest 2025 gets smaller in the rearview mirror, fans look ahead to the future and the recently announced Konami Press Start 2025 showcase. Each year, some developers keep their secrets hidden for before SGF 2025, but there are also the developers who wait until after the huge event to show off what’s in store for gamers, and this year that honour goes to Konami. While nothing new from Konami was showcased for Summer Game Fest, the Konami Press Start event aired today showing off what Konami is working on for the next year and beyond.

METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER – Fox Hunt Multiplayer

The Konami Press Start 2025 showcase started hot right out of the gate with a fresh look at the upcoming METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER Remaster, and with only two months remaining until launch, Konami revealed a brand new mode for the game called Fox Hunt. The new mode shares the same world as Snake Eater, but plays much differently. Konami describes the game mode as a “new type of mode” based on the series’ focus on stealth mechanics.

Additional add-ons were announced for the upcoming remaster such as the teased bonus content brought over from the PS2 original (like Ape Escape’s Snake vs. Monkey), confirming the developers at Virtuos are taking Snake Eater to new heights for the re-release.

Darwin’s Paradox

The debut title from ZDT Studios was shown next, a mollusk stealth title called Darwin’s Paradox! Players will enter the eight capable arms of Darwin, an octopus plucked out of his natural ocean habitat and forcibly brought into a chaotic world supplanted by UFOOD INC. where a sinister plot for world domination is underway.

Darwin’s Paradox! can be wish-listed from Steam today.

Konami Press Start 2025: Other Announcements

  • eBaseball MLB Pro Spirit – The first American Baseball mobile title to feature actual MLB rosters and their real-life line-ups.
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! upcoming tournament information has been revealed, as well as a sneak peek at more of the ongoing promotional short anime series, The Chronicles.
  • Producer of Suikoden I&II HD Remaster, Rui Naito, and Director Tatsuya Ogushi confirmed the title’s release on Nintendo Switch 2. They also revealed Suikoden StarLeap, a brand new RPG set in the Suikoden world, the first mobile game in the series and it’s also coming to Steam.
  • Gradius Origins is coming to PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 on August 7, 2025.
  • Deliver At All Costs received a post-launch trailer since its release on May 20, and it can be seen here.
  • Eden’s Zero is finally getting a game adaptation, and Konami launched a Demo that carries progress over to the main game today. The Demo is available on Xbox Series S/X, PS5 and PC.
  • An upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive title from Konami, Survival Kids, received a new trailer and it’s available now.

The last announcements from the Konami Press Start 2025 showcase provided a fresh look at the upcoming Silent Hill f title. Silent Hill f is the series’ first entry based out of Silent Hill itself, and find a location change to Japan. The new Silent Hill f releases on September 25, 2025, and the developers’ inspiration behind the new location and ‘Finding the Beauty in Terror’ is chillingly haunting.

At the very end of the Konami Press Start 2025 showcase, Konami revealed a Silent Hill Remake is now in development with Bloober Team, the same team that produced the well-received Silent Hill 2 Remake. Sadly, aside from the above image, nothing else has been revealed about the remake. Fans can catch up with the entire Konami Press Start presentation over on the official Konami Youtube channel.
