On Friday, Riot Games announced that they are ‘fixing’ their first League of Legends Exalted skin to be more in line with the Arcane Season 2 promotional art than what was released.
The Arcane Season Two Finale aired last month to audiences on Netflix globally, and fans have been quick to notice the change of the main character Jinx’s design. Notably, she sports undereye pink swathes akin to NFL player eye black, and a large pink X on her chest. Notably, she also adorns herself with a hood baring teeth, showing the personality growth the character went through from episode one to the finale. But when League of Legends launched the Jinx Exalted skin for $250, the skin was noticeably missing the hood featured in all the promotional material for the very premium skin. The main promotional video can be seen below (without the hood).
The video shows Jinx’s fracture in action, and she switches between her alter ego (as seen in Arcane) Powder’s hairstyle, and back to how Jinx appears at the series finale in the three-form fracture . But, League of Legends fans immediately noticed the missing hood in all three forms (including the Hero of Zaun model) and cried foul. Luckily, Riot Games Executive Producer of League of Legends, Paul Bellezza took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce there’s a fix in the works.

Bellezza said “We’re adding Jinx’s iconic finale hood to her first form (Hero of Zaun) in Patch 14.24. You won’t see it in PBE, but it’ll be live when the Patch launches. We should’ve had it in from the start, but hope you enjoy the look when she goes live” in the post addressing the issues fans are having, including saying another champion from both League of Legends and Arcane, Viktor, will be receiving a notable update in the same patch. Fan’s issues with the Viktor VGU update was that his original vision was completely swapped with ‘too much inspiration’ from his Arcane counterpart. According to fans on Reddit at least.
While the Exalted Jinx skin will be updated in the League of Legends patch 14.24, it will remain to be seen when the Viktor fix will be implemented. Beleezza says “We’ll let you know when we have something solid to share, soonish.”
