IFA 2025: Lenovo Releases Gen 2 Legion Go, Legion Pro Monitors, and Vicious New Laptop

Today at IFA 2025, Lenovo announced a wave of updates to its Legion lineup of gaming devices, including a release date for the new Legion Go handheld, three new monitors, and more.

AI integration was a core theme throughout Lenovo’s IFA 2025 presentation, with everything from the latest ThinkBooks to Yoga Tabs receiving updated NPUs and new suites of AI tools. But when it came to Lenovo’s Legion gaming devices, the spotlight shifted to performance and refinement. The Legion segment covered the full spectrum of PC gaming, with announcements ranging from an updated Legion Go handheld to high-performance monitors and a new flagship laptop.

Legion Go

The second-generation Legion Go, first revealed earlier this year at CES, is now set to launch in October 2025. The device’s signature detachable TrueStrike controllers have also been redesigned for greater comfort and intuitive use. For added precision, they now use Hall-effect joysticks, while remaining backward compatible with the first-generation Legion Go.

At the top end, there will be a version loaded with a Ryzen 9955HX3D and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080, and up to 32GB of 5600MHz DDR5 RAM.

The Lenovo Legion Pro Monitors

For desktop gamers who want more visual real estate, Lenovo showcased its new lineup of high-performance Legion Pro monitors. On display were three models: the 31.5” Legion Pro 32UD-10, the 26.5” 27UD-10, and the 27Q-10.

Each delivers 99% coverage of both sRGB and DCI-P3 colour spaces, Delta E<2 colour accuracy, and a rapid 0.03ms response time.

The 32UD-10 and 27UD-10 feature 240Hz UHD PureSight OLED panels with pixel densities of 150 and 166 PPI, respectively. The Legion Pro 27Q-10 features a QHD PureSight OLED display, boasting an impressive 280Hz refresh rate.

Having fast response times and high refresh rates is great for competitive FPS titles, but the colour accuracy of Lenovo’s monitors also makes them an excellent choice for content creation and digital artists.
