LG Electronics Canada has opened pre-orders for its 2026 OLED lineup, led by the new OLED evo G6 and C6 televisions, and has debuted its modular Sound Suite audio system.
Walking out of CES, when it came to OLED displays, LG brought some truly impressive tech to the show floor. Each year, they showcase some truly stunning displays, and this year was no different. But what was different was that LG invited a group of journalists and creators to their HQ in the US for workshops to showcase what their new home electronics look like when you go hands-on with them, and what makes the 2026 lineup so interesting, especially if picture quality and fidelity are something at the top of your needs.
After all that, and showcasing what makes this new lineup something people will want to pay attention to, LG Electronics Canada used a busy March to officially open pre-orders for its 2026 home entertainment lineup, giving Canadian buyers their first crack at the new OLED evo G6 and OLED evo C6 television series. Alongside the TVs, the company is launching LG Sound Suite, a modular wireless audio system that debuted at CES 2026 and marks the world’s first sound setup powered by Dolby Atmos FlexConnect.

At the top of the range, and the TV that drew the most attention during the media session, is the OLED evo G6. It ships in 55-, 65-, 77- and 83-inch sizes, starting at $2,999.99. A 97-inch model is expected later, although LG has not announced availability details. After seeing it in action, I understand why people I trust speak so highly of it. It delivers a striking picture with the sample footage on display and includes LG’s newest processing and picture features, helping bring content to life.
LG says part of what makes the G6 a flagship is its Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3 and a feature the company calls Hyper Radiant Colour Technology, which combines its Brightness Booster, Perfect Black and Perfect Colour systems. LG says Brightness Booster Ultimate mode can make images up to 3.9 times brighter than standard, which can help in well-lit living rooms where glare has traditionally been an OLED weak spot. The G6 also runs webOS 26, supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, and includes FILMMAKER MODE with Ambient Light Compensation. It also comes with a five-year panel warranty.
Of course, not everyone can afford the flagship TV, and this is why LG also offers up the OLED evo C6, which has seen some upgrades for 2026. It shares the Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3 and adds Hyper Radiant Colour Technology on the 77- and 83-inch models. Gamers get a 0.1-millisecond response time, a native 120 Hz refresh rate with variable refresh up to 165 Hz for PC use, and four HDMI 2.1 ports.
The C6 comes in six sizes: 42, 48, 55, 65, 77, and 83 inches, with pricing starting at 1,699.99 CAD. Even though it is a slightly cheaper option, the OLED evo C6 still managed to display a striking picture, with inky blacks and a vibrant image. It is hard to tell how it will stack up in gaming and other media, but when we have a chance for hands-on testing, we will put it through its paces.

While the TV lineup was the visual showstopper, the new LG Sound Suite may be the most impactful. The system is made up of four wireless components: the H7 soundbar, the M7 and M5 surround speakers and the W7 subwoofer. Because each piece connects wirelessly, buyers can mix and match up to 27 configurations, from a simple two-piece setup to a full 13.1.7-channel home theatre. During the demos, I was shocked at just how fantastic it all sounded, and considering you can build out the Sound Suite in a way that fits your space and your desired sound, it is one of the most flexible audio solutions I have seen in quite some time.

The H7 soundbar, priced at $1,299.99, includes 12 drivers and eight passive radiators. It also runs on the same Alpha 11 AI Processor Gen3 found in the TVs. The M7 speakers start at $599.99, the M5 at $399.99 and the W7 subwoofer at $899.99. Each component uses Room Calibration Pro to adjust its output based on placement, so buyers do not need to worry about finding the acoustically perfect spot in the room. While I was skeptical walking into the demos, after testing it all out, I am now excited just to see what is possible, especially if gaming is thrown into the mix.
LG has yet to announce Canadian pricing or availability for the Wallpaper W6 and StanbyME 2, saying only that details will come at a later date. For now, the 2026 OLED and Sound Suite lineup gives the company a broad spread across price points. The flexible audio system, in particular, feels like a smart option for buyers who want theatre-quality sound without committing to a full rack of gear on day one.
Preorders for the televisions run from March 13 to March 26 through LG.ca and major retailers, including Best Buy, Costco, Amazon, Visions, The Brick and Leon’s.
