Summer Game Fest 2025 (SGF 2025) kicks off this weekend, and like other years before it, leaks have sprung before the big weekend. Today, a new trailer for Lies of P: Overture has been leaked.
It has been seven months since the Lies of P: Overture DLC was given a promised release window, and since then, the developers at NEOWIZ have let fans get hands-on time with the DLC ahead of the big release. CGMagazine’s hands-on preview of Lies of P: Overture says “The love and care the team put into crafting both an in-person and gameplay experience shows just how meaningful this game is to them, and how much they want a wide variety of gamers to experience its beautiful and brutal world.”

Today, right before the Summer Game Fest 2025 showcases start to air, a trailer has been leaked over on X (formerly Twitter) showing never-before-seen Overture footage, complete with Xbox Series S/X branding and “available now” appearing at the bottom of the screen. Fans can find the trailer leak from the EliteGamingNews X account, and it showcases many new ways P can die. The trailer also showcases numerous new weaponry P can wield against adversarial puppets in the DLC, including a gun blade that may or may not have been inspired by Final Fantasy.

Due to the branding at the bottom of the trailer leak, it could be speculated that the Lies of P: Overture DLC will shadow-drop during the huge Xbox Games Showcase on June 8th. It’s also very possible PlayStation and Xbox will launch different versions of the launch trailer for Overture on their separate platforms, so fans should take the “available now” at the bottom of the leaked trailer until it fully launches.
