On Tuesday, SEGA and RGG Studios revealed Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii will have many funny mini games that fans can engage with, honouring the series commitment to them.

SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios have teamed up this week to share new details about the upcoming Yakuza series title, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. This time, they’ve revealed some of the many mini-games—a beloved series mainstay—that fans can look forward to. Longtime players will be delighted to know that embarrassing musical numbers and karaoke are making a return, alongside a variety of other side quests.

Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii takes place after the events of Infinite Wealth, with players taking on the role of fan-favourite character Goro Majima for the duration of the adventure as a Pirate Captain. A trailer showcasing the mini-games can be seen below.

With only two months remaining until fans can set sail in the first ocean-faring Yakuza adventure, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios have revealed that Majima can do much more than sing and hide in the background of Kiryu’s photos. In Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, fans can engage in naval battles—a first for the series—on the open seas of Madlantis against rival vessels. Returning from Infinite Wealth (and as a nod to SEGA’s dormant Crazy Taxi series), Majima can also deliver food to patrons in Crazy Delivery.
