At MagicCon Atlanta 2025, Wizards of the Coast took to the main stage to reveal all of the sets coming to tabletops in 2026, and they also pulled back the curtain on a second wave of MTG X Final Fantasy cards.
The opening day for MagicCon Atlanta 2025 brought out the who’s who of MTG to reveal a whopping seven sets coming to the table in 2026, and they weren’t finished there. At the end of the opening preview, WOTC unleashed news that MTG X Final Fantasy is making a return to storefronts with brand new products, artwork, cards, and card treatments that will make fans of Final Fantasy jump for joy.
On December 5, 2025, Magic: The Gathering will be releasing multiple Scene Boxes, a Chocobo Bundle, and the Magic: The Gathering FINAL FANTASY VII Commander Deck – Game Edition. Listed below is what fans can find in each of those products, and pricing details for the Holiday season.
MagicCon Atlanta 2025 – All Final Fantasy Reveals


Scene Boxes – Each Scene Box includes 6 new-to-Magic cards that recreate a scene from one of the Final Fantasy games. Scene Boxes have been created for Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy XV. Each scene box comes with six artwork cards that can be displayed on an included easel and three MTG Final Fantasy play boosters. Each Scene Box will be $41.99 USD.

Chocobo Box – The Chocobo Box revealed at MagicCon Atlanta 2025 contains 10 MTG Final Fantasy play booster packs, 32 Final Fantasy (16 foil, 16 non-foil) landmark basic lands, 10 Chocobo Track foil borderless basic lands, 2 of a possible 20 Chocobo track foil borderless Chocobo Bundle cards, a “Birds of Paradise” promo card featuring “Paradise Chocobo,” 1 of 24 cards in the Non-foil treatment from Magic: The Gathering Scene Boxes listed above, and a Chocobo-themed click wheel. Each Chocobo Bundle will be priced at $109.99 USD MSRP.

Magic: The Gathering FINAL FANTASY VII Commander Deck – Game Edition: This bundle contains the entire Limit Break Final Fantasy VII Commander Deck, including an online download code for the original FINAL FANTASY VII video game, a Cloud, Midgar Mercenary promo card, but otherwise remains mechanically the same as the original release. Each Game Edition commander deck will run $99.99 USD.
