Marvel Rivals players on PS5 have a little treat they can nab to celebrate the start of Season 2, with a free DLC pack.
Of course the one catch is, since Marvel Rivals is free-to-play, not everyone with the game may have a PS Plus account. But luckily, this DLC isn’t locked to just Extra or Premium subscribers, anyone that’s a PS Plus member can nab the set of items for free. All you need to do is head to Marvel Rivals page on the PS Store and look for the Marvel Rivals – S2 Bundle. This includes a neat little does of cosmetics, but I hope you’re a Squirrel Girl fan. Here’s what’s included.

The Urban Hunter costume is, of course, available in the in-game store, but getting anything for free is nice.
Season 2 of Marvel Rivals officially kicked off on April 11, and saw the addition of the Vanguard-type character Emma Frost. This current season will last until Mid-May, at which point Season 2.5 will kick off with its own unique additions and events. This will also see another character added to the game, with the iconic villain Ultron.
Recently, NetEase announced that it was changing the way seasons work in Marvel Rivals. Starting with Season 3, the game’s seasons will now only last two months instead of three – with a new hero added at the start and midpoints. This means that a new hero will be added to the game every single month.
This change is similar to the way Overwatch 2 does its seasons, but in that game new heroes are only added every 2-3 seasons. Adding a new hero every month certainly seems like a monumental undertaking for the team behind the game.
Marvel Rivals is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
