Marvel and NetEase Games have announced a new limited-time game mode is coming to the hit title, Marvel Rivals, and it will introduce Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event.

Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event is coming to Marvel Rivals. Marvel Games and NetEase Games have announced their immensely popular PvP hero shooter will be getting a limited-time event, complete with a limited game mode. The Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event will begin on March 7 at 4:00 p.m. EST, and NetEase Games has launched an official event trailer to commemorate the event. The trailer can be seen below.

The limited-time event will let players engage in Marvel Rivals‘ new game mode, Clone Rumble. In previous Marvel Rivals game modes fans were limited to choosing one hero character per team, to diversify matches and not have teams of five Spider-Men running around. Clone Rumble scraps that base rule of Rivals and lets teams vote on two heroes for all players to play between. Once heroes have been voted on by both teams, team members on both sides will be forced to select one or the other for the match without restrictions on duplicate heroes. This means it’s very possible for maps to have 12 Hulks running around at once.

Clone Rumble will take place exclusively on the Intergalactic Empire Of Wakanda: Birnin T’Challa map, and victory will be determined by which team completes the specific mission objectives first. The Marvel Rivals special event will reward players who jump into Clone Rumble matches, and players who complete tasks will be gifted limited-time items such as the Black Widow: Mrs. Barnes costume. MVP nameplates, sprays, Units and other rewards can also be earned.

The Marvel Rivals Galacta’s Cosmic Adventure event will launch on March 7 along with a slew of patch fixes and notes. Fans looking for the detailed patch notes for March 7 can head to the official site.
