With the release of the new character Emma Frost in Marvel Rivals, Marvel Snap looks to follow suit with its new season, introducing new X-Men to its heroic lineup.

Class is going back in session as Summer approaches with Marvel Snap. The upcoming new season is bringing new X-Men to the equation, and like the newly introduced hero in Marvel Rivals, Emma Frost, Snap is bringing one of the five telepathic Stepford Cuckoos (who are clones of Emma Frost), Esme Cuckoo, to the digital tabletop. This powerful new card allows a player to copy a card from your deck into your hand on reveal, and then set that card’s cost to 3 and power to 4. The new mutant card can be seen below, as well as the other additions, as shown in Marvel Snap.

The new Marvel Snap series 5 cards will launch weekly as the spotlight card in the card shop and will be added to Seasonal Series 5 SNAP Packs. New Series 4 and Series 5 cards will remain in their respective Seasonal Packs for the current and following seasons. The previous month’s Season Pass card will also be added to the Seasonal Series 5 Packs on the first day of the new season when it launches. Marvel Snap has also added two new locations with Series 5: The Pit of Exile, which forces players to go small as cards with 10 or more power can’t be played, and Genosha, which resets board states after turn 5, destroying all cards but the most powerful per board.
