Motorola has announced the Moto G Stylus — 2025 edition — a durable smartphone that enhances users’ creativity with AI-powered sketching, upgraded cameras and more.
Designed for the creative minds, Motorola unveils the Moto G Stylus 2025, a durable smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The smartphone will feature a built-in stylus for a quick drawing session powered by AI, Google Circle to Search, a 6.7” Super HD pOLED display, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, 120Hz refresh rate, and more.

The Moto G Stylus 2025 is built with a vegan leather body and Pantone colour schemes. It includes a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, 256 GB of uMCP internal storage, support for up to a 1 TB microSD card, 8 GB of RAM, a 5000 mAh battery, and a Super HD 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The Dolby Atmos stereo speaker setup rounds out its media features. As for cameras, it features a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 700C sensor for capturing photos in bright or low-light conditions, a 32 MP front-facing camera, and video recording up to 4K at 30 fps or Full HD at 60 fps.
Focusing on the creativity aspect of the Moto G Stylus 2025, the built-in stylus is 6.4 times more responsive than the previous generation. It can turn basic sketches into fully rendered images using AI, solve handwritten equations via an in-device calculator, and is ideal for doodling or colouring. Notably, the device incorporates Google Circle to Search, enabling users to search simply by drawing a circle around an object.
For those looking to upgrade from the 2024 model, the Moto G Stylus 2025 offers several improvements to enhance daily use. The 2025 edition is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, compared to the previous generation’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. It can now record video in 4K, includes four cameras instead of two, and improves display resolution from FHD+ with 396 ppi to Super HD with 446 ppi. However, those who rely on a 3.5 mm headphone jack should note its removal, with audio now routed through USB-C.
The Motorola Moto G Stylus 2025 will be available in the United States starting April 17 on Amazon, Best Buy and the Motorola website for $399.99. In Canada, the phone will be available May 13 at select retailers and on Motorola’s website.
