MSI Shows Off Their Award-Winning Innovations at CES 2018

MSI is showing off it award winning gaming gear at CES 2018 and they are introducing new gaming products. At CES MSI is showing new gaming monitors, graphics cards, motherboards and two upgraded gaming desktops. 

MSI is launching three new gaming products and they will display two of them at CES Innovation Award Honorees. The Innovation Award Honorees include the Trident 3 Arctic, Z370 GODLIKE GAMING motherboard, GTX 1080TI Lighting Graphics Card, Infinite X gaming desktop and Optix MPG27CQ gaming monitor. The Trident 3 Arctic was also awarded a Best of Innovation at Gaming. “MSI has been dedicated to the field of gaming and is highly acclaimed by gamers and eSports teams worldwide,” said Eric Kuo, MSI Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing.

MSI is continuing its Optix gaming monitor line-up with the MPG curved gaming monitors. The new Optix MPG series will include of two 27-inch monitors, the Optix MPG27C and Optix MPG27CQ. Both of these models sport a 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. The MPG27CQ is equipped with a 1440p WQHD screen. While the MPG27C uses a 1080p screen.

The Trident 3 Arctic was first unveiled in March of 2017 and it has now gotten even better with the use of an upgraded Intel 8th Generation processor and NVIDIA GTX 1080 graphics card. The Arctic is perfect for those with a limited amount of space or design requirements.

The Infinite X sports a more traditional tower design compared to the Arctic. It still hosts some unique features however. The infinite X uses: either dual steel or deal tempered glass side panels, Mystic Light RGB LEDs, MSI’s award winning graphics cards, Intel’s 8th Generation CPU and MSI’s Silent Storm Cooling 3 Pro liquid cooling.

The Aegis Ti3 gaming desktop will be available with an Intel 8th Generation processor later this year.

MSI continues to showcase the future of PC gaming tech with the latest Intel 8th generation platform, the Z370 Godlike Gaming motherboard. This mother board was given an honors as a CES 2018 Innovation Award Honoree.

The motherboard supports Triple Turbo M.2 Shield V2, Turbo U.2 with steel Armor and has an Xtreme Audio DAC with Nahimic 2 to deliver amazing sound quality. This motherboard also sports four available slots for DDR4 RAM with Steel Armor.

This armor keeps the DIMM slots shielded to protect the DDR4 modules and deliver pure data signals for overclocking performance.

MSI also featured the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Lighting Z Graphics Card. The graphics cards sports a Tri-Frozr thermal design, using three award-winning TORX 2.0 fans with double ball bearings to enhance its air cooling.

The card also features the Lighting Z close quarters heat pipe cooling. The pipes are imbued with Close Quarters Heatsink and Backplate for greatly improved thermal performance.

Lastly MSI will be unveiling a new GT75VR Titan Pro with the new Killer Wireless-AC 1550. Originally created in a collaboration with Intel, the Killer Wireless-AC 1550 is the world’s fastest 2×2 11ac wireless networking adapter. It is capable of delivering up to 1.73 Gbps of throughput. The Killer 1550 features 160 Hz channel support and can deliver twice the throughput of what standard 2×2 11ac adapters can deliver.
