MWC 2025 kicks off this week, and Lenovo has brought announcements surrounding their popular ThinkBook and ThinkPad lines to Barcelona, Spain.
Lenovo has news regarding their business computing lines, ThinkBook and ThinkPad. At Mobile World Congress 2025, the company brought announcements for both, from the ThinkPad’s first 2-in-1 T-Series laptop to the ThinkBook 16p Gen 6’s AI performance.
Starting with the ThinkBook 16p Gen 6, this 16-inch 3.2K display laptop features X-Rite colour calibration, bringing accurate and clear images for creatives. It also features low blue light support to protect users who are in it for the long haul, reducing eye strain.
The ThinkBook 16p Gen 6 device is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor, aimed toward providing ultimate power for complex workloads. The NVIDIA Geforce RTX GPU can take on the most demanding creative tasks, like real-time studio-grade acceleration for 3D rendering and more. Lenovo AI Now personal assistant utilizes the discrete NPU (neural processing unit) to maximize workflows. Paired with Wi-Fi 7, USB-C, and HDMI connectivity, the ThinkBook 16p Gen 6 is ready for whatever you can throw at it.
Lenovo’s ThinkPad line was not left behind at MWC 2025, with announcements surrounding the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 and the ThinkPad X13 Gen 6. Featuring a 360-degree dual thing design, the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 can be used in laptop, tent, stand, and tablet modes and also has an optional magnetic-attached Lenovo Yoga Pen.
This is the first convertible device in the T-series and is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor and Intel vPro. Combined, these help bring AI features to the T14s, like AI-automated productivity and AI-enhanced noise cancellation for virtual meetings. The display options include a 500-nit low-power touch display or a 400-nit WUXGA touch option. Other features of the ThinkPad T14s 2-in-1 include Wi-Fi 7
and optional 5G connectivity and a 58Wh CRU battery.
The ThinkPad X13 Gen 6 is newly designed and is aimed at professionals who require big performance on-the-go. At only 2.05 lbs, this ThinkPad is one of the lightest in the line-up. The ThinkPad X13 can be either Intel or AMD-powered with an Intel Core Ultra processor and Intel vPro or AMD Ryzen AI PRO processor and with up to 64GB LPDDR5x of RAM. Lenovo has also optimized it for those who work from home or on the go, with its Communication Bar with a 5MP, IR camera, Wi-Fi 7 and optional 5G capabilities. Battery configurations are 41 Wh or 54.7 Wh CRU batteries.
