Smartphone brand realme has teased a few announcements for Mobile World Congress 2025 (MWC 2025), including the new 14 Pro series lineup and another “ultra-tier” announcement.
lDubbed “the world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand, realme has a few announcements lined up for this year’s Mobile World Congress. Already shared was that realme would be announcing the global release of the 14 Pro Series. So far, we know that the 14 Pro will be “The World’s First Cold-sensitive Colour-changing Phone, leading its price segment in both performance, design and imaging capabilities.”
Realme has announced a few more details on top of the cold-sensitive, colour-changing technology. The realme 14 Pro series is dubbed their mid-range camera flagship but will feature a 6000mAh battery and MagicGlow Triple Flash, upping their nighttime photography capabilities. Details on the 14 Pro and 14 Pro+ are already on their official website, like its Dimensity 7300 Energy 5G Chipset. The series will feature NEXT Ai, which will include Ai Snap Mode, Ai Ultra Clarity and 2.0 and Ai Eraser 2.0, competing with all the major smartphone players out there. The 14 Pro lineup also promises 120 FPS for three major global games and more.
The company has also teased another announcement ahead of MWC 2025. The realme press release boasts an “ultra-tier device leverages a sensor larger than those in flagship models and DSLR-inspired hardware that outperforms other smartphones.” They have made note that their in-house testing points to a new standard in smartphone photography. Realme made sure to comment on the device’s portrait photography and low-light performance, thanks to its “ultra-large sensor.”
Founded as recently as 2018 by Sky Li, realme became one of the top 5 smartphone brands in 30 markets by 2021, with over 200 million users today. Last year brought a new branding slogan to the company, “Make it Real,” with a focus on young mobile users.
