My Hero Academia: All's Justice Focuses on Open World-Esque Mode In New Trailer

My Hero Academia: All’s Justice is significantly shaking things up from the previous two games, by not just letting you play through the anime’s story, but also a free-roam story mode where you travel around the city and help citizens.

Like the previous two games, My Hero One’s Justice and One’s Justice 2, All’s Justice is a tag-team arena battler, where each character has a distinct moveset themed around their powers. All’s Justice will feature fully powered-up versions of characters, on top of a handful of new ones.

But the open-world-esque features here are the kind of thing fans have wanted from My Hero games for nearly a decade, and the newest trailer from Bandai Namco spends nearly ten minutes diving into how this new mode, and a variety of others, work. The “Team Up Mission” mode lets you work with other Class 1-A Students to complete training tasks (i.e., fighting villains, helping citizens, maybe saving a cat or two).

These free-roam sections will give each character new traversal options, like Todoroki skating along the ground with his ice — and there’s also a bunch of collectible cards to find.

After clearing Team Up Mission, you’ll unlock two other modes, Archives Battle and Hero’s Diary. While All’s Justice focuses on the Final War arc of the series, Archive Battle will let you relive iconic battles from across the series, like when Deku faces down the hero-killer Stain.

Hero’s Diary, on the other hand, lets you watch game-exclusive scenes with full voice acting, revealing never-before-seen story moments. These sections do include some light battling or parkour, but are more story-focused. Based on the trailer, they almost seem Persona-esque in how they focus on the students’ personal relationships.

My Hero Academia: All’s Justice launches on February 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
