Although fans are now less than 24 hours away from the Nintendo Switch 2 livestream presentation, Nintendo Treehouse has committed to gameplay showcases this week.
The Nintendo Treehouse Live is where Nintendo showcases newly announced titles for the first time or new features as part of their existing consoles. These segments walk fans through gameplay segments of titles that may not have been released or just released that week to raise awareness for new titles coming to Nintendo.
With the Nintendo Switch 2 Nintendo Direct taking place tomorrow, Nintendo has decided to continue with their foot on the gas and has announced Nintendo Treehouse Live events for April 3 and April 4, showcasing “hands-on” gameplay for new Nintendo Switch 2 titles. The announcement was made on the official Nintendo X (formerly Twitter) account, and it can be seen below.
A surprise Nintendo Direct (featuring titles for the original Nintendo Switch) just released and showcased some of the most anticipated Nintendo titles like Metroid Prime 4: Beyond and Pokemon Legends: Z-A, so it remains a mystery what Nintendo plans to show. Due to the initial launch trailer of the Nintendo Switch 2, a very brief visual of gameplay for what appears to be Mario Kart can be seen on the display of the console, so it’s very possible Nintendo will show more of their flagship racing series tomorrow and on the Nintendo Treehouse Live gameplay showcases.

The return of Nintendo Treehouse: Live is coming on both April 3rd and April 4th, and it will air each day at 10:00 a.m. EST. These Treehouse events have been confirmed to showcase hands-on gameplay of Nintendo Switch 2 titles, and its possible upscaled original Switch titles, and previously unreleased titles for the Nintendo ecosystem can be shown.
The Nintendo Direct featuring the Nintendo Switch 2 airs tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. EST on the official Nintendo YouTube channel.
