The highly anticipated release of the Nintendo Switch 2 is here, and on launch, fans can snag a pretty robust catalogue of games that have launched with it.
The Nintendo Switch 2 is finally here, and on launch, the only console bundle that has been made available is the one that includes Mario Kart World. However, Nintendo has also launched a slew of titles that will make owning the latest Nintendo home console hardware a good choice rather than having a new console without a new game. While there are a few new entries to the Switch catalogue on the Switch 2 launch (like Mario Kart World), a wealth of games for the original Nintendo Switch have received notable enhancements in a day one patch for the Nintendo Switch 2 (which can be seen here).
But for the fans that want something exclusive to the console, Nintendo has you covered with a small launch list of titles fans can scoop on June 5 (the Switch 2 launch day) to accompany their console purchase. CGMagazine has gathered a list of all of the currently available Switch 2 software titles fans can adopt with their console on day one. The list can be seen below, including Switch 2 Edition titles like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. It’s worth noting the Switch 2 will also launch with day one access to Nintendo Gamecube classics like The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker and F-ZERO GX, which is included with Nintendo Online Expansion Pass membership.
While some of these titles may not be available physically, the Nintendo eShop has an unlimited supply of software for users to purchase. Fans should note they will need the new MicroSD Express card for extra memory as old SD cards will no longer work.
