Nintendo has recently announced the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2. To celebrate the announcement, Nintendo will be hosting a hands-on event that you can register for soon.
The Nintendo Switch 2 has finally been announced, showcasing how the new console will look compared to the predecessor and giving us a sneak peek into an upcoming Mario Kart game with 24 players racing on a track together for the first time. With many fans excited, Nintendo has announced the chance for gamers to join the hands-on experience. It will open registration tomorrow, January 17, at 12 PM PST/ 2 PM CT/ 3 PM EST until January 26.
A few gamers will be selected from the draw after registering for the chance to try out the Nintendo Switch 2 in the hands-on experience as it will be taking place right after the Nintendo Direct about the upcoming console and games. The dates of the hands-on experience vary depending on the locations and to help make it easier for fans to sign up, here are the listed countries that will be hosting Nintendo hands-on experience:
North America
- New York, U.S.A – April 4 to 6, 2025.
- Los Angeles, U.S.A – April 11 to 13, 2025.
- Dallas, U.S.A – April 25 to 27, 2025.
- Toronto, Canada – April 25 to 27, 2025.
Europe
- Paris, France – April 4 to 6, 2025.
- London, England – April 11 to 13, 2025.
- Milan, Italy – April 25 to 27, 2025.

If unaware, Nintendo will be broadcasting its next Nintendo Direct on April 4, 2025, as it focuses on the Nintendo Switch 2 and upcoming games that will be released alongside the console. From what is known so far besides the hardware, there will be backward compatibility, although we will need to wait for more details about the selected games that won’t be compatible and more details about the upcoming Mario Kart game that seems to feature newly designed characters and will for the first time have 24 players racing together.
