GeForce RTX 40 Series Graphics Cards

Leading the charge of the gamer focused RTX 40 series, is the RTX 4090 GPU which promises to deliver “4x the performance of its predecessor” based on new NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture, which is a revolutionary new build that represents a new era of ray tracing and neural rendering with AI generating pixels for maximum performance.

Nvidia is giving gamers a choice with its new RTX 4080 graphics card. The company is offering two models of the card, one with 12GB of GDDR6X memory and another with 16GB of GDDR6X memory. Nvidia claims the new card is 2–4x faster than the existing RTX 3080 Ti. The 12GB model will start at $899 and include 7,680 CUDA Cores, 7,680 CUDA Cores, a 2.31GHz base clock that boosts up to 2.61GHz, 639 Tensor-TFLOPs, 92 RT-TFLOPs, and 40 Shader-TFLOPs.

The RTX 4090 is the top-end card for the Ada Lovelace generation. It comes with a whopping 24GB of GDDR6X memory, making it 2-4x faster than the RTX 3090 Ti. Despite all that extra power, it consumes the same amount of electricity as the previous generation card. Nvidia recommends a power supply of at least 850 watts.

Inside the behemoth RTX 4090 are 16,384 CUDA Cores, a base clock of 2.23GHz that boosts up to 2.52GHz, 1,321 Tensor-TFLOPs, 191 RT-TFLOPs, and 83 Shader-TFLOPs. The RTX 4090 arrives on October 12th, just in time for the spooky season. It’s priced at $1,599, with the RTX 4080 priced starting at a more reasonable $899 and will be available starting November 2022. Both are powered by Nvidia’s next-gen Ada Lovelace architecture.

“For our new GeForce RTX 40 Series Founders Edition graphics cards, we’ve further optimized the Dual Axial Flow Through system, increasing fan sizes and fin volume by 10%, and upgrading to a 23-phase power supply,” outlined technical marketer at Nvidia, Andrew Burnes. “Memory temperatures are reduced, and the new, substantially more powerful Ada GPUs are kept cool in ventilated cases, giving gamers excellent overclocking headroom.”

With the NVIDIA Ada Lovelace architecture powering each GeForce RTX 40 Series graphics card, Nvidia is claiming users will see a massive generational leap in performance, efficiency and capabilities. Built on a custom TSMC 4N process, Ada boasts up to 76 billion transistors – that’s compared to last-gen’s 28 billion. This makes Ada the world’s most advanced GPU architecture ever created.

With over twice the performance at the same power compared to Ampere, Ada is perfect for anyone looking to get the most out of their investment. Additionally, Ada is incredibly scalable and overclockable, making it perfect for anyone looking to push their system to the limit.

The advanced architecture of the new GeForce Beyond revealed RTX 40 Series allows for pristine ray-tracing, so games like Portal can look better than ever before, especially the way the lighting effects are highlighted. Every light is ray-traced and from the light shadows, indirect lighting naturally illuminates and darkens rooms with the RTX 40 series and ray-traced lighting scatters through fog and smoke, adding a sense of realism and depth to every scene.

DLSS 3 With Breakthrough AI-Powered Frame Generation

DLSS 3 is an AI-powered system that enhances performance by building upon NVIDIA’s AI-accelerated super-resolution techniques, powered by new fourth-generation Tensor Cores and a new Optical Flow Accelerators only currently found on the new GeForce RTX 40 series. By further enhancing the AI-generating pixel prowess of the former GeForce offerings, a new capability called Optical Multi Frame Generation leads to full on AI frame generation rather than the limitations of pixels.

COLORFUL GeForce RTX 40 ‘Vulcan’ Series Specs

The new COLORFUL iGame GeForce RTX 40 Series Vulcan Series graphics cards are a big step up from the previous generation. The new fan blade design produces more airflow at lower noise levels, and the black and silver colour scheme are looking great based on images.

One-Key Overclock: A conveniently placed button located at the rear I/O that activates overclocking function for a quick and easy performance boost without opening software.

Hurricane Scythe Blades: New fan blade design that delivers a maximum airflow of 55 CFM compared to 42 CFM from previous-generation Storm Chaser fan design.

iGame Smart LCD: A removable magnetic display that can be mounted on the graphics card or on the included display dock. The display has a resolution of 800x216px – fully customizable via the iGame Center app to display real-time monitoring figures, custom images, GIFs, and others.

Display Dock: The display dock is an external docking accessory that users can place on their desk or on top of the chassis that holds the iGame Smart LCD. The display dock connects the display via a USB cable.

Vulcan Support Frame: The Vulcan Support Frame enhances the stability and structural rigidity of the entire graphics card. This eliminates the risk of bending and warping as it supports the weight of the card.

Hollow Back Panel: A hollow back panel design that allows airflow to freely pass-through the heatsink. This design greatly improves heat dissipation compared to conventional GPU air cooling designs.

iGame Accessories: The Vulcan Series comes with a set of accessories including the Screen Wipes, White Gloves, and Screwdriver.

COLORFUL ‘Neptune’ Features
