With spring right around the corner, Singularity 6 launches Palia’s latest update, Spring Spectacle: Toadstool Tales, introducing the conclusion of the Elderwood story, Ulfe’s friendship, and more.
As the snow starts to melt and flowers begin to bloom, Palia will be transitioning from Winter’s Wonder: Riffrocin New Year update to the Spring Spectacle: Toadstool Tales, introducing many updates for players to anticipate as they return to the cozy MMO title. Stepping into the farm life, the latest update features Lunar Path: The Path of the Tadpole, spring-themed rewards, Elderwood final story arc, and much more.
Concluding the Elderwood story arc, players will return to the Elderwood as they continue to heal the forest, uncover answers to its mysteries, learn more about Ulfe’s past, complete new puzzles and confront the truth behind the Beast of the Woods. Additionally, as players explore the history of the Zendruu Tree, they will uncover the legacy of Umbraan and the origins of the Beast of the Woods, while also encountering Echolings, lingering spirits from Umbraa’s past, and clues about the mysterious stranger who has been intervening quietly.
As a reward for completing the Elderwood story arc, Palia will grant players a new Zendruu Tree nameplate and a Wolbunny as their ranch animal.
Once players complete the Zendruu Tree quest, Ulfe’s friendship will be unlocked, allowing players to build their bond up to Friendship Level 4, expanding on the Zendruu Tree and how it shaped his story. During his friendship quests, players will help guide Ulfe toward brighter dreams as he struggles with nightmares and confronts the shadow of his past. As players build their Friendship Level, they can earn rewards such as a s’mores recipe, a sketch and a complex orrery.
Kicking off Palia’s fourth Lunar Path, The Path of the Tadpole features more than 22 rewards for free and premium players to unlock at their own pace, with the option to swap between past Paths. For those looking to upgrade their rewards, the Premium Upgrade for The Path of the Tadpole will cost 1,975 Palia Coins. Highlights among the rewards unlocked during The Path of the Tadpole include:

Updating Palia Photo Mode with a cleaner interface, the features now support filters and special effects, with the Sepia filter added and more options planned for the future. Additionally, each player is limited to storing 200 images on a new system and will receive a notification when near their limit. However, PC players can exceed the limit by saving their photos locally, while Console players won’t have the option available during launch. To let players know where their photos are saved, a status icon will pop up, along with a built-in reporting system to maintain a safe space. Lastly, players can now add their favourite photo as their profile picture.
As spring approaches in Palia, the Spring Bounty Bundle Board will be available for players to earn rewards as they collect and contribute colourful eggs to the bundle board. Each bundle will require specific eggs, such as Red for Hunting, Blue for Fishing, Yellow for Bug Catching, Green for Foraging, and a random mix for Mining, Gardening, and Ranching. As players contribute eggs to each bundle, they could be rewarded with:
- Honeybee Lure – Acquired from the Bulletin Board
- Amaranth Tint – Recipe acquired from the Bulletin Board
- Dahlia Tint – Recipe acquired from the Bulletin Board
Time for players to put their Fishing, Hunting, and Ranching skills to use, as Palia will be hosting an Open Season event from April 24 to May 8, 2026. During the 14-day event, the community will work toward a milestone goal by hunting wildlife and collecting fish, with the points doubling as they hunt and collect from the Elderwood. However, for those who prefer Ranching, they can tend to their Boovars to help supply fish. After reaching certain milestones, players will receive limited-time rewards through their News Inbox.
For those who love ranching, the Palia Spring Spectacle: Toadstool Tales introduces the Ranching Acres system, allowing players to store their animals in a dedicated retirement area without affecting their age and needs bars. Available right from the start, retiring Venerated animals and removing animals will be free, with the option to expand their retirement slots to store 50 additional animals. However, it will cost 20 Ranching Skill Medals if players wish to give their animals an early retirement before they reach a Venerated status. Lastly, pets unlocked from a Handler License can still be used while the animal is retired.
Expanding the Ranch animals, players can now recruit the Wolpunny as their ranch animal through the Zendruu Tree quest line. Previously available only as a pet, the Wolpunny can provide players with many seeds, including star-quality seeds, for gardening.
Getting into the spring spirit, the Honeybunch set will be available at Tish’s Furniture Store, providing many bee-themed decor items for players to decorate their homes. The items that will be available as part of the Honeybunch sets are:

During the launch of Palia’s latest update, Spring Spectacle: Toadstool Tales, players can now unlock the Alchemist Cottage Home Line through the Path of the Tadpole. Crafted directly at the workbench, players can unlock the Alchemist Fireplace and the Alchemist Conservatory.
In addition to the many new events and features, Palia Spring Spectacle: Toadstool Tales will introduce many new improvements and adjustments to improve the players’ experience. The improvement and adjustment that will be added during the latest update are:
- Kilima Flower Bloom Flower Update – The flowers have been refreshed, allowing players to harvest Tulips, Bluebells, and Purple Potato pods from the Kilima Flower Bloom event.
- Updates to Campfires and Grills – Campfire and Grill facilities can now be placed indoors.
- Dowsing Rod Improvement – The Dowsing Rod can now track the Flowtatos correctly while the buff is active.
