Bandai Namco has announced their list of playable games at PAX West, and the sheer size of their line-up is shocking.
PAX West is on its way, taking over the Seattle Convention Center from August 29th to September 1st, and Bandai Namco has made sure gamers will have lots to do. The PAX series of events is known to be some of the best opportunities for gamers to go hands-on with games that aren’t released yet—and plenty that are out, too.
Bandai Namco’s booth was impressive at PAX West 2024, and it was packed every second of the event. Games like Unknown: 9 Awakening, LITTLE NIGHTMARES III and Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero all had their own stations with people lined up around the booth. At PAX West 2025, it looks like Bandai Namco is taking things up a notch with a whopping eight games on display.
Playable demos will be on the show floor for DIGIMON STORY TIME STRANGER, Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree, LITTLE NIGHTMARES III, MY HERO ACADEMIA: ALL’S JUSTICE, PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC, plus DLC content for SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream. For THE BLOOD OF DAWNWALKER and CODE VEIN II, gamers will find photo ops at the booth (#2339) and in the North lobby.
Here is Bandai Namco’s entire PAX West line-up, as shared by press release today:
- DIGIMON STORY TIME STRANGER: Journey through time and worlds as an agent of the secret group ADAMAS to unravel the mystery of the world’s collapse in this upcoming RPG. Play the demo to explore the Digital World of the Digimon for the first time, engage in a boss battle, and earn some cool collectible swag.
- Towa and the Guardians of the Sacred Tree: Enter a Mystic Realm in this upcoming 2D isometric roguelite from Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. and Brownies Inc. Forge weapons and bonds that stand the test of time in the game’s first consumer demo. As Towa, lead the guardians of the sacred tree in epic battles against Magatsu’s forces to determine the future of Shinju Village.
- MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice: Be one of the first in the world to play MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice. Take control of all of your favourite characters from Class 1-A. Experience “ONE LAST SMASH” as you battle through your opponents in exhilarating 3v3 battles and engage in the climactic clash between hero and villain.
- LITTLE NIGHTMARES III: Experience the disturbing world of the Nowhere in an updated show demo featuring a new level from LITTLE NIGHTMARES III. Face your fears and receive an exclusive promotional giveaway.
- PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC: Choose between one of two available levels and jump, Rev Roll, and Super Butt Bounce in a hands-on demo of PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC. With modern graphics, expanded levels, quality of life improvements, and voice acting, PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC is the fan favourite remade from scratch with the original recipe. Adventure is back on the menu.
- SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream: Dive into the latest content in a demo for SWORD ART ONLINE Fractured Daydream DLC 4, featuring newly added playable characters Mito and Cat Alice. After the demo, walk away with exclusive badge ribbon designs, including one inspired by last year’s fan-favourite lofi playlist art.
- CODE VEIN II: Immerse yourself in the post-apocalyptic world of this upcoming RPG with a photo op featuring a life-size replica of the Motorcycle Forma. Strike a pose for a collectible photo or use our special camera to create a shareable custom video with special effects.
- THE BLOOD OF DAWNWALKER: Step into this upcoming dark fantasy RPG from Rebel Wolves, where vampires have seized their opportunity as war and the Black Plague ravages 14th-century Europe. Capture a memorable photo op at the Blood Mass, where the villagers from Vale Sangora give their blood to their vampire lords. This activation is located in space #N8 in the North Lobby at the Seattle Convention Center.
