The VR gaming market has some news to share, PlayStation has announced a price reduction for the PlayStation VR2, which will take effect in March.
For players looking to try VR gaming on their PlayStation 5 and PC, PlayStation has announced that the PlayStation VR2 will reduce the price of the standard edition and Horizon Call of the Mountain bundle. The price reduction will take effect in March across retail.

The PS VR2 is a step up from their first VR headset released in 2016, as it features 4K HDR visuals, haptic feedback and adaptive triggers from the Sense Controller, and 3D audio technology to immerse the players into gaming. Reviewed by CGMagazine, the PlayStation VR2 received a positive score, stating, “PlayStation VR 2 is – dare I say it – the first attempt I’ve seen in years to create a next-generation VR experience”
The standard PlayStation VR2 will be available for $399.99, €449.99, £399.99, and ¥66,980 across the retail. The standard edition includes the PS VR2 headset, PS VR2 Sense Controller, and Stereo headphones. For players looking to get a game with the newly purchased VR set, the bundle will be available for $399.99, €449.99, £399.99, and ¥66,980. The bundle includes a PlayStation Store voucher code to redeem Horizon Call of the Mountain, a PS VR2 headset, the PS VR2 Sense controller, and stereo headphones.

The PlayStation VR2 has many games available, including the hit Alien: Rogue Incursion, Skydance’s Behemoth, and Metro Awakening VR. However, if you are looking to prepare for news releases, Aces of Thunder, Dreams of Another, Hitman World of Assassination, and The Midnight Walk are coming soon. Interestingly, players looking to use the PlayStation VR2 on their PC to play Steam games can do so with the PlayStation VR2 PC Adapter.
