Niantic has announced Pokémon GO Tour: Unova will be returning to Los Angeles in a time of need with dedicated wildfire relief to support those affected by the recent wildfire.
Following the Southern California wildfire in January 2025, the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova will return to give back to the community during a hard time. The event will be held at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, from February 21-23, 2025, with a wildfire relief effort to allow the attendees to support the families affected by the wildfire.
The recent Southern California wildfire was devastating to many families, as it burned an estimated 40,500 acres and destroyed more than 15,000 structures, according to Forbes. During this difficult time, Niantic and The Pokémon Company Group will donate a combined $1 million to nonprofit organizations providing aid to those affected by the wildfire. The Pokémon Company will donate $500,000 to the California Wildfire Relief Fund, while Niantic will contribute the remaining $500,000 to:
- California Community Foundation
- Latino Community Foundation
- Pasadena Community Foundation
- Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
For those interested, each of the websites will have a link you can visit to help provide support for families affected by the California wildfire.
With the community coming together, the Rose Bowl Stadium and areas surrounding the stadium will transform into a Pokémon playground with themed habitats, rare Pokémon encounters, and an opportunity to take photos with the Pokémon Mascots. To participate in the fun and help provide support, the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova One-day tickets will be available on the Pokémon GO Live website for $30.00 USD.
The Pokémon GO Tour: Unova will be open to the attendees on February 21-23 at the Rose Bowl Stadium, as the event brings the community together to capture Pokémon and provide support for those affected by the California wildfire.
