A Wild Pokémon Presents Appears February 27!

After weeks of fan speculation, The Pokémon Company has pulled back the curtain to reveal a new Pokémon Presents scheduled for next week.

It should come as no surprise to Pokémon fans everywhere that The Pokémon Company was going to launch a new Pokémon Presents on Pokémon Day (the anniversary of Pokémon Red & Green‘s Japanese release), and this year, it has happened again. The Pokémon Company says, “To celebrate the holiday, The Pokémon Company group is inviting Trainers around the world to tune in to a Pokémon Presents video presentation on Pokémon Day for exciting updates and announcements across the Pokémon franchise.”

As to what will be revealed, speculation regarding the Pokémon Presents has run rampant since the Nintendo Switch 2 reveal last month. Fans assume the announced-last-year Pokémon Legends Z-A starter Pokémon will be revealed over on Reddit. In multiple threads on the Pokémon Legends Z-A forums, fans have surmised the starters for the next title will be Totodile, Litten and Snivy. These choices are due to their placement on an Advent Calendar from August 2024. Reddit fans have also theorized there will be a fourth “Tapu” monster introduced (initially native to Pokémon Sun & Moon), considering there was a fourth ‘Force of Nature’ Pokémon released with Enamorus.

While speculation continues to run rampant on the internet, The Pokémon Company has revealed the release date and time of the next Pokémon Presents. The showcase lands on February 27, and it will air at 9:00 a.m. EST. Fans can tune in to the official Pokémon YouTube channel at that time to watch when it airs.

As a reminder, the currently ongoing Pokémon giveaway at local GameStop locations is ending on February 27. Fans will have until February 27 to secure a special Flying–Tera Type Eevee in their Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet video game. Until February 27, Fans just have to walk into their local Best Buy, Gamestop and Canada to secure a giveaway code for the Eevee.
