The mobile Pokémon TCG Pocket keeps improving and today, they’ve announced the debut of fan-favourite Shiny Pokémon in a new booster pack next week.
While Triumphant Light launched not even 30 days ago, Pokémon TCG Pocket continues to strike while the iron is hot and has unleashed a new trailer for their next booster pack set to drop next week, Shining Revelry. Shining Revelry brings elusive Shiny Pokémon to the frontier of TCG Pocket for the first time, and on top of the new shiny variants, the previously announced first season of Ranked Matches (featuring Shining Revelry) will land at the same time. Fans can check out the new trailer below.
Shining Revelry features an entirely new card list, similar to previously released single packs like Mythical Island and Triumphant Light, and adds a new layer of strategy to the game. Triumphant Light introduced the new ‘Link’ mechanic, which allows trainers to activate specific effects when the creator of Pokémon, Arceus (or an EX variant), is on the field.
The trailer revealed a few spoilers, showcasing how Wugtrio, Lucario EX and Charizard EX will appear in Pokémon TCG Pocket in their shiny variants. A new trainer supporter card, Red, released with the booster, will allow trainers to deal 20 extra damage to an opponent’s active Pokémon EX, adding another way to combat powerful EX monsters.

On top of the Shining Revelry announcement, Pokémon TCG Pocket will deploy the first ranked matches season to coincide with the release of Shining Revelry. The first ranked matches season will feature the new booster Shining Revelry, and will be available from March 28, 2025, at 2:00 a.m. EST to April 27, 2025, at 1:59 a.m. EST. Trainers will be able to test their mettle against players of similar skill levels from around the world in the new battle variant, and trainers will receive an emblem based on their end-of-season rank for display on their player profile.
Pokémon TCG Pocket launches Shining Revelry and Ranked Matches next week on March 27.
