The Razer Blade 18 is quite a powerhouse, featuring top-of-the-line specs that appeal to gamers and creative users. Focusing on the specs, the Razer Blade 18 features the first 18-inch dual-mode display, allowing users to switch between native UHD (3,840 × 2,400) and FHD+ (1,920 × 1,200) resolutions, with a 440 Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX, capable of boosting performance up to 5.4 GHz with 24 cores and 24 threads.

But that’s not all — the laptop also comes equipped with the GeForce RTX 5090, powered by the Blackwell architecture. The graphics card features DLSS 4 and Multi-Frame Generation to boost gaming performance, Nvidia Studio for users looking to enhance their creative work, and Nvidia NIM microservices to allow users to build AI assistants, agents and workflows.

Despite being a laptop, the Razer Blade 18 is designed to maximize performance and bring many desktop features to elevate the experience. The features included are:

  • 280W Total Package Power (TPP) and Maximum Cooling: Equipped with the thinnest fins in the class with a vapor-cooled chamber and a 3-fan system that can dissipate heat quickly and efficiently.
  • All-new redesigned keyboard: Features a redesigned scissor switch that allows 35% more travel distance than the last generation, a 10-key numeric keypad, and dual-LED backlighting powered by the Razer Chroma RGB.
  • Desktop Level of Connectivity: equipped with Thunderbolt 5 and 4, Wi-Fi 7, HDMI 2.1, Bluetooth 5.4, and Gigabit LAN to enhance the transfer speed and connectivity.
  • THX Enhanced Audio: Features a high-fidelity six-speaker system with the THX Spatial Audio and pre-tuned audio profile, providing an immersive experience with the 7.1 virtual surround sound.
  • Crystal Clear Video and Sound: The 5MP camera will provide a clear video and audio call with its dual microphone array, and a privacy shutter thanks to Window Hello.

The Razer Blade 18 will be available to pre-order for $3,199.99 on the Razer website and RazerStores.

Alongside the Razer Blade 18, Razer has announced the redesigned Blade 16, which is available for pre-order today for $2,999.99. To balance portability and performance, the laptop features the GeForce RTX 5090, a QHD+ 240 Hz OLED display with a 0.2 ms response time, a six-speaker audio system with THX Spatial Audio, and a redesigned keyboard offering 50 percent more travel than the previous generation.

The biggest difference compared to the Blade 18 is the processing power, as the Blade 16 is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 NPU. With the NPU, it offers up to 50 TOPS when using Copilot+, providing access to Cocreator for image creation, live translation when watching international content with Live Caption, and the Windows Studio Effect to enhance presentations.
